Pigmentation & Dark Spot Facials in Uluwatu, Bali
Sun spots, post-acne marks, an uneven tone. Our Korean brightening protocol targets pigmentation with vitamin C and niacinamide — and helps you protect your results in the Bali sun.

What is it?
Hyperpigmentation is an excess of melanin in specific areas of the skin. It includes sun spots, melasma (often hormonal) and post-inflammatory marks left after acne or irritation.
What causes it?
- UV exposure stimulating melanin production
- Post-inflammatory marks after acne or picking
- Hormonal changes (pregnancy, contraception) — melasma
- Heat and visible light, which can also worsen melasma
Why Bali makes it worse
Strong sun all year round keeps melanin production switched on; heat can make melasma worse. Without diligent sunscreen, new spots appear and existing ones darken quickly.
Our approach at POINT · FACE
Brightening works by exfoliating dull surface cells, inhibiting excess pigment (vitamin C, niacinamide), calming inflammation and — essential — protecting from UV. We combine Hydrafacial, ultrasonic vitamin C infusion, yellow & green LED and an Illuminating Orange HydroJelly mask.

FAQ
Pigmentation & Dark Spots: your questions
Can facials remove melasma?
Melasma is chronic and hormonal: facials can brighten and help it look lighter, but cannot cure it. Strict sun protection is the most important step. A dermatologist can advise on medical treatments.
How many sessions for dark spots?
Expect visible brightening from the first session and progressive fading over 3–6 sessions spaced 2–3 weeks apart.
